"Since I was 7 years old I wanted to be a singer songwriter. I remember playing Phil Collins and Michael Jackson on vinyl in my room for hours at a time! However, I wouldn't just sing along to the songs, I would imagine I had written the songs myself and was performing them to the crowd. For me, it was so important I was a singer/songwriter. It just made sense to me. This feeling has never left me and during my musical journey, I have been blessed with some amazing career highlights! From being awarded 'Best Unplugged Act in The West Midlands', opening up for Leona Lewis and McFly, to head lining some amazing venues, and performing live on BBC Children in Need.
I am so happy to be releasing new material in 2021 I can't wait to get back out there and perform these new songs to people!"

"Songsmith of soaring vocals and sensitively crafted tunes" (BBC Radio LIVE)
"Using a piano and his voice, Aaron Yorke has achieved a sentimental simplicity to break your heart and overwhelm the senses. If you aren’t careful, you find yourself blubbering in the corner with a wistful look on your face." (Nexus Music Blog review of Storms)
“It's very much heart on sleeve time for this talented singer songwriter.... well worth trying to catch live". Graham Radley (World Unlimited)
"What an incredible talent!" Kate Justice (BBC Radio Evening Show)
"This year has seen any number of emerging artists being hailed as the new singer-songwriter messiah. Yorke makes them all seem like amateurs” Mike Davies (Brum Beat magazine)
An acoustic piano-driven track, ‘Jail’ is reminiscent of Tom Odell and Ed Sheeran, but with a certain intensity lacking in Odell and Sheeran’s works. (Nexus Music Blog review of Jail)
"There's a fragility to his cadence which shines through.. and a rich sense of character that leaves you wholly vulnerable" (The BOPS Collective review)
